As a local professional photographer living in Basel I am organising and leading photo tours through the Zoo of Basel specifically tailored to the needs and expectations of photographers.
Basel Zoo is a zoological garden in Basel. It is located in the Basel-Bachletten district on the Birsig river. It was opened in 1874, making it the oldest zoo in Switzerland. With 7017 animals in 628 species, it also has by far the largest animal population.
Let me take you to our beautiful Zoo here in Basel. As a local photographer, who lives in the heart of the city, I can show you around at the right time of the day to capture that very special image.
Every Photo Tour is individually designed with the aim of bringing you to the best locations to translate your creative vision into beautiful images.
A 30% deposit is due upon booking - remaining amount 10 days prior to the tour
This tour will only take place if the weather allows it. You will get the full amount back if it gets cancelled from my side. Cancellation from your side, less than 20 days before begin of tour, you will lose your down payment. Travel/Cancellation insurance recommended
Half-day Group tour - morning 10am - 1pm or afternoon 12pm - 3pm ( 3 hours) CHF 200.- per person (min. 2 - max 4 people)
Half-day tour Private tour - morning or afternoon ( 3 hours) CHF 350.-
Included: Small lunch
Not Included: Entry fee CHF 21 / CHF 19 for senior

All tours are weather dependent.
A full refund will be provided in case of bad weather with the exclusion of the processing fees for personalised tours. The same applies to any cancellations I may need to make due to unforeseen circumstances.
In case you need to cancel, if done 10 days prior to the tour, a refund will be provided with the exception of the processing fee for personalized tours. In case cancellation takes place 10 days or less prior to the tour, you will lose your deposit and down payment.
